Review: DHC Moisture Fruit Foaming Wash

Before I have to travel outstation, I went to Watson to buy some necessities such as facial wash, body gel or shampoo to bring travelling. At that time, I saw DHC have super mega sale ongoing in the store.

DHC is a brand from Japan which stands for Daigaku Honyaku Center. The corporation is a manufacturer dealing in cosmetics and health food supplements. Their headquarter loacted in Tokyo, Japan.

I have seen some reviews on their products in VIVI magazine and I thought of trying them out one day. Their products not really cheap but still maybe affordable. The price range is around RM50 to RM100++.

For this foaming facial wash, it's original price is RM59.90 (for me, I really can't afford this. I will tell you why soon). Since there is a mega sale, this foaming wash is discounted 50% which is only RM29.95! It just slightly expensive from my usual facial wash. So, why not give it a try?

It is made in Japan and imported solely by Watson's Personal Care Stores Sdn Bhd. You can't find this brand in other beauty care store (I don't think you can find their product online, except Watson online shop cuz I can't find any Malaysia online website is selling DHC products).

DHC Moisture Fruit Series contains five fruits essence which are kiwifruit, apple, peach, grapefruit and raspberry.  It also contains only natural essential oils. One thing I love this product is that this foaming wash is free of colourant and parabens.

Foaming is believed can catches dirt and clean off your tiny pores that normal facial wash or gel unable to do that. As you press on the bottle, the foams automatically formed on your hand. It is very convenient as you're no need to mix your facial wash with water and form the foam.

The foam smells more citrusy instead smells sweet. It is so smooth when you washed it on your face. But one bad thing is I always need to press 4-6 times for the foams, as it always not enough for my face. LOL.

However, after I used this foaming wash for a week plus, I found that this foaming wash can't prevent pimples (as it has promised on the description box) and my boyfriend said that my face seems rough than the last time he met me.

I heard some articles said that foaming is actually not good for face as it cleans too much the pores, left the pores with no oils (which our face needs), resulting the skin too dry and pimples will form. It also said that foaming will left the pores open wide and unable to close back. I am very unsure the source of the article... but it seems like my face can't handle this foaming wash. Hmm...

Overall, the product is good but my skin can't handle this foaming wash. So, I turned back to my previous facial wash gel

Will I buy back this product?

Well, I won't as my skin become bad in condition after using it and it's only been used for one week and plus, the bottle is left half portion. Since the original price is almost RM60, it is quite expensive to have RM60 spent every two or three weeks on facial wash! I will broke if continues like that.

Until here only, my dear!
