Reviews: Eucerin Soothing Cream 12% Omega

Today, I'm making my comeback in reviewing on the beauty product! This is my first post about the reviews on products. Please forgive me if my reviews sound so weird or give a comment on how I should improve the reviews. And also, please forgive me for my ugly lips photos! (>A<) 

I have a very dry lips, to the extent that my lips look flaky with dry skins and sometimes, it bled terribly (like I have drunk someone's blood). Recently, it became worse as it affected my philtrum (is the space between my nose and upper lip). The skin around there will dried out, producing flaky skins and redden, but I don't feel any itchiness when this happened. My camera can't capture my reddened skin, but if you meet me face-to-face, it looks worse.

My friends advised me to apply Vaseline but Vaseline does not work well for me. It will cause acne pop out and people sees me like I never wipe my mouth after eating chicken wings! Um... Sometimes I applied some creams that I bought from pharmacies, these creams are not edible one! My philtrum did heal but in a few days later, the redness and dryness came back... I can't used/eat these 'poison' anymore.

I also have no idea how to heal my skin and what causes make this. I even went to pay hundreds Ringgit to see a skin specialist. My money burns and my upper lip still in redness and flaky skin. My sister said maybe the cause of this is the water I intact is not clean enough (I mean the drinking water in my company not really filtered). So, I tried not to drink any water outside unless is the water I brought to work or mineral water.

One day I went to Guardian to buy sunscreen, I stumbled to this Eucerin Soothing Cream 12% Omega. It contains of 12% Omega plus Licochalcone A (I have no idea what is that). This cream can be applied on face and body on those dry and irritated skin. It claims that it will give immediate relief of skin dryness.

Since I'm already out of ideas how to heal my skin, I bought it without thinking twice. Eucerin's products always cost extra money as they are dermatological skincare. Guess how much this one cost? RM65!! What wonders it have/create to cost me that much money?

As soon as I reached home, I went to search some reviews in Google. I read one comment  that a girl also has the same problem like me and she used this cream to heal her eczema. Okayyy. Let's try this out.

I applied the cream on my upper lip and voila! Instantly, I saw the result. My redness soothed down and no more flaky skin! Hooray! I applied lip balm, so my lips look better than the previous picture (btw, I sometimes used this cream on my lips before apply lip balm!). Unlike Vaseline, my dry skin can absorb this cream and it is not oily/sticky at all. Since my skin does not feel itchy, so I can't tell you that the cream can really relieve the itchiness.  

Ingredients: 

Aqua, Glycerin, Vitis Vinifera Seed Oil, Oenothera Biennis Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Pentaerythrityl Tetraisostearate, Triisostearin, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceral Stearate, PEG-40 Stearate, Glycyrrhiza Inflata Root Extract, Ceramide 3,Tocopherol, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, BHT, 1,2-Hexanediol, Phenoxyethanol, Piroctone Olamine.

Summary of the ingredients (two main ingredients): 

•  Omega-6 fatty acids which is from natural Evening Primrose Oil and Grape Seed Oil to replenish the skin with lipids, helping to restore its natural barrier.
• Licochalcone A is an agent extracted from licorice root helps soothing dry skin which may lead to redness and itching.

The cream not really thick (for me) and it does smell a bit like Omega oil. It is quite liquid, like water than like lotion or those face cream. You can see the picture above, the cream flow down as I moved my hand a bit when I took this picture.

Within 1 minute, my skin absorbed the cream and my skin looked like watery as the cream hydrates, soothes and reduces roughness instantly.

Now, my confidence comes back and I no longer need to hear people asking/telling me that my lips chapped and bled and also asking me to drink more water (as I did drink a lot!). If you have the same problem like me, try this cream. Seriously good and give you the result you want for every cents you spend on this cream!

Will I buy this again? OF COURSE! (eventho it quite expensive but worth it...)
