Restaurant Siaw Kah @ Sg. Chua, Kajang

Again, I want to say, "I am so sorry for posting anything in this blog" to my readers. Actually, for past few weeks, I was busy with my company's annual dinner and I was involved in the staff competition performance. Last week, my team was so busy in preparation for the performance at The Mines Convention Centre and we always finished our practice very late night. The earliest time we able to "ciao" is only dinner (only one day, out of four days). 

So, that one day we were able to finish our practice earlier, one of my colleague suggested to go for dinner at Kajang, where he stays. We always heard from people's mouth that Kajang is famous for its satay. But we did not try the satay that day. We went for "hot soup" (in Chinese means 辣汤).

What is "hot soup"? Basically, it is a soup that cooked with pork or meat and flavoured it with a lots of black peppers and spices. The soup is known to improve blood circulation and also very nutritious to our body.

Restaurant Siaw Kah is my colleague's recommendation as the restaurant is famous for the soup. It is located in Sungai Chua, Kajang. 

The menu book that I never had the chance to "discover" as my colleague "knows" the menu very well and he was in charge to order. So, I didn't look through the menu at all. 

The "hot soup" that we keep mentioning about! 

The soup is crystal clear, but don't get tricked by the clearness of the soup! The soup is quite spicy (or not, for those loves spicy food) with black peppers! 

My colleague ordered the Spicy Pork Belly with Dried Shrimps (The name itself serves the purpose. This dish also quite spicy but I kept taking this dish to my plate! Cuz it's too yummy!

Even though this dish looks so similar like the above one, this one is chicken dish. Another dish which cooked in claypots, the "Hua Tiao" Chicken. The chicken is cooked with a kind of Chinese "white wine". This one is less spicy than the pork one. 

Some vegetables that we ordered. You can see most of the food are spicy, but we still can "handled" them! 

Opps! Forget to give the details of the main dish! Back to the "hot soup", I think my colleague has ordered mixed ingredients for the soup. You can order either pork one, chicken one or mixed one. I totally loves the way the soup is stuffed with meats, mushrooms and spices! Ahhhh now I hungers for this again...

I want go and eat this right now... geeez (¤○¤)
